Adventureach Spring Teams 2024(AGES 11-17)
Adventureach Teams consist of small groups from 15 - 20 who meet for 3 hour session of outdoor adventure and discipleship. Participants will be challenged physically, mentally and spiritually as they face challenges and participate in experiential learning opportunities. Through teams participants build character and lasting friendships. This spring all Teams sessions will be meeting weekly! We still ask that parents and participants make a commitment to attend as many sessions as they can as space is limited and we don't want to take a slot for someone who will not be regularly attending. If you have been a regular Teams participant and are unable at this time to extend the commitment to every week you can still register but please prioritize making it to every A week session as in past seasons. This spring we will be running an open registration due to the demand for teams. Our heart is to include all those who would like to participate, but we still need to control team size, as we do not want to dilute the work we are doing. We ask that parents please have patience and flexibility with us in this process. The registration for this spring will be for placement, your registration is not technically complete until we contact you with your confirmed placement in February. This spring for registration parents will be able to select the sessions that they can attend. Placement will begin with those who have the most flexibility we will then move through registrations in waves based on flexibility and position of registration. We will not publish the roster for each team until the second week in February, we apologize for any inconvenience.
Participants should be prepared to go deeper in debriefs and breakouts; as well as be more challenged in the outdoor adventure and sport. Participants will need to bring a refillable water bottle, snack, bible (available upon request), and any clothing necessary for the weather that still allows them to be comfortable doing strenuous athletic activity. Adventureach Teams is entirely outdoors so participants should be prepared to endure whatever weather we have. In the case of severe inclement weather that would prohibit us from safely operating a session we will cancel. |
Adventureach Summer Camps 2024(AGES 11-15)
We are excited to be offering our 9th year of Adventureach summer camps! Due to demand we will be limiting registrations to one free summer camp per participant this year. Please do not register your participant for more than one free summer camp. All the camps offered at the Adventureach Proving Grounds are free so that no one is discouraged or unable to participate due to price; for those who are able and appreciate the mission of Adventureach we would ask you consider supporting us through one-time or monthly donations as able. We look forward to seeing you this summer! To register for the camps we offer in partnership with Kings Christian Academy you need to register through their website when it goes live https://www.kingschristianacademy.org/summer-camp . Even if the camps displayed here say all registered there may be space at Kings Christian Academy. Their registration usually opens later than ours though so if it displays a past year it has not gone live for this year yet. At Adventureach Summer Camp youth will experience an exhilarating week of full contact battles with state of the art foam weapons including swords, shields, spears, javelins, and bows & arrows. Daily organized battles and new challenging activities will keep participants excited and ready for more. Each participant will be part of a small team with an experienced adult leader and mentor to help build camaraderie and Christ-like character in an extremely fun, safe and dynamic environment. Campers will be learning about Compassion, Edification, Respect, Integrity, Sacrifice, and Teamwork based on trust as they engage in Team Battles, Gladiator, Capture the Flag, Domination, Archery, Castle Siege Battles, Archery Tag and more! Packing List:
Hydration: At Adventureach we make sure to have frequent water breaks. We also teach self-regulation and encourage campers to get water and take breaks as they feel they need it. But hydration should continue and begin at home even before camps starts. Please make sure your camper is drinking plenty of water and/or your choice of electrolyte drink at home. We also recommend bananas or some form of potassium replacement to reduce the possibility of cramping. We look forward to seeing you this summer!
